Slow Moments in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania

I spent a few days at my friend's family home in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. I brought my camera but didn't plan any photos. It was a relaxed trip, and I took pictures of whatever was around.
The Vineyard
One evening we walked through a vineyard near the house. The light was nice, the corn was tall, and there were string lights hung between the posts. My friend and I walked down the rows together.

A little girl ran past holding a corn husk and a plastic cup. I took this one right away.
Small Things
My friend let a grasshopper climb onto her finger, and there was a millipede walking along a wooden rail. I got down close and took my time with both.

The View
The house looks out over hills and farmland with a few grain silos. At sunset the clouds turned orange over the cornfield.

The Animals
The next day we visited the animals on the farm. My friend's family dog, a goldendoodle, said hello first. We also met a peacock, a goat resting by the barn, an alpaca, and a cow.

In the Car
I took a few photos from the back seat. One is of my friend looking out the window with the wind in her hair. The other is the road home at dusk.

Why I'm Sharing This
I like these photos a lot, even though none of them were planned. When I'm photographing a family or couple, I try to keep that same relaxed approach. I plan the location and the light, then leave room for the moments in between. If you'd like a session like that, ask about a date.
